Contributor Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Performance For Life™ News. This e-zine is designed for you and contributions are encouraged.

Since this is offered free of charge and intended to be an informational service for you, there is no compensation for contributed articles or materials.

Here are the following guidelines for each of the e-zine’s sections.

All submissions selected for use in PFL™ News are solely determined by the editor. If your contribution is selected, you will receive an email confirming its use prior to publication. All submissions become the property of PFL™ News for use in the e-zine or other related materials.

All contributions must be yours, that is, original with you, and you have the rights to offer it to PFL™ News. If a reprint, you must provide where and when it originally appeared and you are responsible for having permission from the original publisher or have the rights to offer it to PFL™ News. It is not PFL™ News’ responsibility to check and confirm copyright sources. When you make a submission, you are ensuring that there is no copyright infringement for publishing your submitted material.

Deadline for all proposed/submitted material is the 12th of the month prior to the next scheduled e-mailing.

Feature Article: related to safety/health, environmental, or human resources topics, no longer than 1,200 words. We will run the first 250 words, followed by a link to the remainder of the article. Brief bio-line (max 25 words) will be given.

Resources: information or press release about a resource that is of interest to our subscribers. 150 words (not including headline) maximum with a link to the remainder of the story. Be sure to include contact information to find out more about the product/service.

Profiles: contribute a 100-word maximum profile on you or your company that provides networking benefits. In other words, why would other subscribers be interested in you or your company? Remember your contact information for questions or information requests.

Depending on the response, the number of profiles for each issue may be limited in number. There is no guarantee that your profile will make the next issue. If and when it is chosen for publication, you will receive an email prior to the publication date.

This is intended to be a service to all of our subscribers; please limit your profile submission in that regards. Your website link and email address will be in the profile as you provide it.

Successes and Suggestions: Please feel free to share suggestions related to safety/health, environmental, and human resources topics, including success stories from the use of such suggestions. Selection and use of these are at the discretion of the editorial director.

Depending on volume of responses, these may be limited for each issue. If selected for use, you will receive an email prior to the publication date so please be sure to include contact information when submitting your information.

Letterbox: open to all subscribers, providing general comments, requests, questions pertaining to the contents of PFL™ News. Submitting to the letterbox gives PFL™ News permission to run any portion of the letter in any of the issues, as determined by the editor.

Classified Ads: 25 word maximum, may include job announcements, services/products for sale. Acceptance of ads is at the discretion of the editor. Ad rates are available by clicking here.
